Danielle
Danielle was born in Calgary, Alberta, but she was raised in Woodstock, Georgia. Her deep love for animals of all kinds has been a constant in her life. She pursued a major in Wildlife Sciences at the University of Georgia. Before transitioning to the medical side of animal welfare, Danielle worked in the animal shelter field for a few years. In January 2022, she rescued her feline companion, Mimosa, and they have been enjoying life together ever since. When she's not at work, you can often find her hiking in the great outdoors, searching for critters, or lounging by the pool with her favorite book. Danielle aspires to further her education in the animal medical field by gaining hands-on experience at Express Vets, with the ultimate goal of leaving work each day, knowing she has made a positive impact on the people in her community and their beloved pets.

Rachel
Rachel relocated to the greater Atlanta area with her husband after their marriage in 2019. Initially, she pursued a career in the legal field, but with the unwavering support of her husband, she decided to pivot into the world of animal care. Rachel's first step was a year spent in boarding and training, where the experience of administering medications to pets under her care ignited her passion for the veterinary field. In October 2022, Rachel joined Express Vets, where she has found immense fulfillment in her work, a supportive community among her coworkers, and a nurturing environment. Concurrently, she is pursuing her Veterinary Technician Associate's Degree at Penn Foster College and eagerly anticipates her graduation. Outside of her professional pursuits, Rachel finds joy in quality time spent playing video games with her husband, delving into the pages of a good book, and cherishing moments with her three beloved dogs, who hold a special place in her heart.
Kyleigh
Kyleigh was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised here in Georgia. She grew up very fond of animals and was always striving to learn something new about them. From a very young age, she knew she would make a career out of her love for animals. Once she graduated high school, she began her first animal care job with being a kennel tech, eventually making her way to shelter med, and finally accepting a job as a veterinary Assistant in 2022. Kyleigh believes in making sure our fur babies get the care and respect they deserve while under our care. In her free time, she enjoys taking care of her many reptiles, tending to her plants, snuggling with her friendly feline octavius, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
Justanne Dean
Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, which is why becoming a Veterinary Technician was such a natural path for me. After attending Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, I’ve spent the last 9+ years building experience in everything from blood draws, surgery, and cytology to client communication. I truly love being able to care for pets while supporting their people through every stage of life with their animals.
When I’m not in the clinic, most of my time is spent with my toddler and family — and when we can, my husband and I love to travel and explore new places together. At home, I’m also a proud pet mom to two very different pups: my three-legged sweetheart who’s full of resilience, and my mischievous ‘problem child’ who keeps us laughing. They both remind me daily why I do what I do.
